About the role:

• Development of safety-related embedded software/firmware in C++ for automation systems
• Creating documentation (e.g., product specs)
• Implementation of test drivers, unit tests, and supporting V&V teams with system debugging

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as an Electrical Engineer and Embedded Systems Engineer (B.Eng./M.Eng.), Information Technology Engineer (B.Eng./M.Eng.), Automation Technology Engineer (B.Eng./M.Eng.), or equivalent
• Experience with IEC 61508 Functional Safety design process
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems, safety-related code design, and C++ coding
• Strong knowledge of the firmware development process (specification, design, implementation, integration, verification, documentation)
• Proficient in English, German is a plus
