The Accounts Payable Team Lead (m/f/d) will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

About the Role

  • Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor communications.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of all invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of accounts payable transactions, expense reimbursement process and reconciliation of related accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on accounts payable activities and performance to senior management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable payment terms.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal controls.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting/finance and at least 3 years of people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong Analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
