About the role:

• Define specifications for software functions and modules in real-time bus systems for automation
• Implement functions in C++ on Linux-based embedded hardware
• Test and document software components

Qualifications:

• As Electrical Engineer (f/m/d), Embedded Systems Specialist (f/m/d) or Automation Technician (f/m/d) with a completed degree
• Strong object-oriented programming skills in C++
• 5+ years experience with real-time OS (e.g., VxWorks, Embedded Linux)
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Profinet, EtherCAT, TSN
• Excellent English (spoken and written); German skills are a plus
